PpI am currently looking for a Director or Senior Director of Business Development for a mid sized global full service clinical Contract Research organization with a great culture and an excellent track record and footprint across Europe. This is an exciting new role, working very closely with a very forward thinking and impressive CCO. This CRO has a fantastic reputation with clients and an excellent track record of delivering phase 1 to 4 studies across a range of therapeutic areas and indications. /p pThe role is an individual sales contributor role. This is a remote, working from home position with a focus on western Europe. You will be responsible for existing accounts as well as securing new business, predominantly with early to mid sized biotechnology companies. In order to be successful in this role you will require a strong network and sales track record in this region, selling full service CRO solutions. /p pThis role comes with a very lucrative sales plan/commission structure, as well as opportunity for quick career progression. /p h3Your role will include: /h3 ul liAchieving agreed upon sales and business development targets; creating and implementing appropriate business development strategies for identified target markets /li liProspecting with the goal of establishing a pipeline of sales opportunities and RFPs from potential clients; suitably qualified for competitive advantage, timing, budget, decision maker /li liUtilizing Salesforce to keep track of client activities including meetings and entering opportunities and updates as required to inform management of current status /li liLeading and managing the sales process for leads generated and leads received from internal and external sources. /li liLeading the proposals development process for all opportunities and the assigned team to ensure that the strategy, budget and proposal language and timelines matches the expectations of the client as identified through extensive interactions with these clients. /li liContinually redefining appropriate and profitable market niches for business opportunities, based on evidence. /li liProviding input to the Marketing team so that they can create and implement appropriate marketing strategies that support the business development process and team /li liProviding input to business development leadership based on territory and industry knowledge to develop sales targets, sales strategies and sales plans /li liWorking with the team to define and implement strategies to support the sales process, including securing resources to perform pre‑sales activities /li liEngaging with agents and consultants in other geographic locations to support business development activities in those markets /li liEngaging with internal research staff to maximise selling opportunities associated with existing travel schedules of those staff /li liIdentifying and attending appropriate conferences and trade shows to create business opportunities /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
