Context Nuclear medicine has evolved considerably over recent years with the emergence of radiotheranostics, a modality which combines targeted diagnosis and therapy with radioisotopes. It offers an important and promising alternative in the treatment of many cancers. Among the most promising therapeutic radioisotopes is the alpha-emitting Actinium-225. One of the main challenges to making this therapeutic solution accessible for the greatest number of patients is ensuring the availability of high-quality Actinium-225 in large quantities — often referred to within the community as “the rarest drug on Earth.” By joining their unique expertise and resources, SCK CEN and IBA have launched PanTera, a company dedicated to enabling the large-scale production of Actinium-225. As PanTera scales its operations and prepares for the design and construction of its future Actinium Production Center (APC), the organization is looking for a Business Systems & IT Engineer. This person will act as the right hand of the IT/OT Project Manager, taking full ownership of day-to-day IT operations while growing into business process management and, over time, contributing to the digital and IT/OT infrastructure of the APC facility. Responsibilities IT Operations Serve as the single point of contact for all internal IT support requests (service desk, email, chat, on-site). Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues with Windows 11 devices, Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), VPN, and peripherals. Coordinate with the external ICT vendor for escalations and complex resolutions. Prepare and configure laptops for new employee onboarding via Microsoft Intune; support mobile device management. Maintain, and monitor anti-phishing campaigns and security awareness training programs to strengthen employee resilience against phishing attacks and other social engineering threats. Manage user accounts, access rights, shared mailboxes, and MFA enrollment in Azure Active Directory / Entra ID. Maintain hardware inventory and handle basic network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN). Maintain accurate ticket logs and up-to-date IT documentation. Support the rollout and compliance of AI usage policies Business Systems & ERP Provide first-line functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (ERP), coordinating with the vendor for complex issues. Support the documentation, analysis, and continuous improvement of key business processes (sales, production, procurement, inventory, logistics, finance workflows). IT/OT & APC Infrastructure Support the IT/OT Project Manager in the design of the digital and OT architecture for the APC facility, including sensor integration, data flows, and connectivity. Assist in evaluating OT platforms, gateways, and edge computing solutions suited to a GMP manufacturing environment. Profile A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows environments; working knowledge of Azure Active Directory / Entra ID. Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues independently and efficiently. Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or regulated environment is a strong asset. Exposure to ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or equivalent) is a plus. Familiarity with OT technologies, industrial networks, or OT environments is a plus. Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) and networking knowledge (IP, DNS, DHCP) are appreciated. Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
