The role is a key strategic leader within the BIS team. /liliThe BIS Finance Lead leverages Oracle and third-party systems, and builds new capabilities to automate finance processes, improve compliance, and maximise the value of corporate data. Partners with Finance Leads, Technology Leads, and Service Providers to define processes, design the technology architecture, and configure essential systems for delivering therapies to markets and transforming patient lives. /li /ulh3Reporting Line /h3ulliSenior Director, BIS CMC/GA /li /ulh3Roles And Responsibilities /h3ulliEstablish strong relationships with all levels of the Finance organization and with Service Providers to deliver value-added solutions at strategic and operational levels. /liliEstablish governance processes, define an annual portfolio of projects, resource contracts, and oversee implementation to deliver outcomes that enhance the Finance organization and enable global execution. /liliWork with technology vendors, consultants, and SMEs to deliver business process improvements and technology solutions aligned with objectives and that add value to argenx. /liliEnsure Oracle and other third-party systems operate within a consistent technology architecture to support current processes and scale for growth and complexity. /liliCollaborate with business leads and SMEs to lead strategy, define BIS service and portfolio priorities, and contribute to defined business outcomes. /liliMaintain an understanding of the industry landscape and the Finance team's direction to ensure progress on the right priorities. /liliRespond and communicate on tactical and strategic BIS technology issues across Finance and connected teams with internal and external partners. /liliLead support services with service providers, monitor SLAs, manage escalations, and follow up on issues. /li /ulh3Skills Competencies /h3ulliUnderstanding of the industry landscape and global regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, IFRS, General Controls). /liliStrong understanding of Finance functional areas including accounting, FPA, tax, internal controls, reporting, TE, treasury, and supply chain execution. /liliUnderstanding of general information technology. /liliAdvanced understanding of Oracle technologies in Finance, including: /liulliOracle ERP Fusion Cloud (Finance, Procurement, PPM, Supply Chain) /liliOracle EPM (FCCS, PBCS, TM, ARCS, TRCS, EDM) /liliOracle FDI /liliOracle OIC /liliOracle IDCS /li /ulliOptional understanding of third-party systems including Kyriba, Workiva, Concur, Appzen and Fastpath. /li /ulh3Education, Experience And Qualifications /h3ulliDirect, substantial experience implementing Oracle technology solutions in Finance. /liliExperience overseeing Information services and systems globally. /liliExperience managing geographically distributed teams in an outsourced environment.
