Senior IT Infrastructure Sourcing Lead

The Division:
You will join the Global Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management unit, situated within the Finance and Group Transformation division. This department acts as the organization’s end-to-end procurement engine, reporting directly to the CPO.
The division oversees how the group selects partners, manages third-party risk, and drives "Spend Effectiveness." By providing a unified Source-to-Pay framework, the team ensures governance, compliance, and value delivery through structured demand management and performance-driven KPIs, supporting the group's long-term strategic ambitions.
The Team: IT Infrastructure Squad:
Within the procurement organization, the Infrastructure Squad is the specialized unit responsible for the group’s most critical technology domains. This team manages the lifecycle of high-value hardware and software assets essential for operational continuity.
Key focus areas include:
* Strategic Negotiations: Leading renewals and agreements with major technology providers (e.g., Enterprise Software, Mainframe ISVs, Storage, and Cloud).
* Transformation Support: Assisting with large-scale initiatives such as data center migrations and cloud-native transitions.
* Risk & Compliance: Managing Software Asset Management (SAM), supplier risk governance, audit defense, and regulatory resilience assessments.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Strategic Vision: Take a leading role in defining sourcing strategies that support long-term IT digitalization and infrastructure objectives.
* Financial Impact: Identify, quantify, and materialize cost-saving opportunities, translating forecasted savings into measurable bottom-line results.
* End-to-End Execution: Lead the entire sourcing lifecycle—from requirements gathering and RFP issuance to final contract negotiation and PO execution.
* Stakeholder Advisory: Collaborate with senior management, Finance, and Operations to align procurement activities with business needs and risk appetites.
* Continuous Improvement: Share expertise to evolve procurement tooling, risk assessment methodologies, and professional standards within the squad.
Required Qualifications
* Experience: 10+ years in IT Infrastructure (Hardware & Software) sourcing, with a proven track record of interacting with senior executive leadership.
* Domain Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of the infrastructure landscape, including market players, TCO components, and the sales strategies of Tier-1 vendors.
* Negotiation Skills: Solid experience in high-stakes negotiations involving Mainframes, Storage, DC Strategy, IaaS, and PaaS.
* Autonomy: Ability to manage complex sourcing requirements independently, providing pragmatic recommendations with minimal guidance.
* Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills; ability to maintain positive relationships across a diverse, international stakeholder map.
* Mindset: A blend of immediate "actionable" delivery and visionary long-term thinking.
Preferred Assets:
* Experience in the Financial Services sector and familiarity with complex regulatory environments (e.g., DORA or outsourcing guidelines).
* Working knowledge of Agile operating models and frameworks.
