Truck mechanic - Dutch not required!

For a major logistics company in Oostkamp, specialised in frozen transport, we are looking for a mechanic who wants to keep the company’s trucks, trailers and equipment in top condition. Don't speak Dutch (yet), but you have good experience with truck mechanics and you speak English well? Then is your chance!
Your role
As a mechanic, you are responsible for the maintenance, repairs and technical follow-up of the entire fleet. In the company’s well-equipped workshop, you work on heavy vehicles and ensure they are safe to go on the road.
Your tasks include:
1. Maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers and cooling units
2. Repairs to braking systems, lighting and bodywork
3. Preparing vehicles for technical inspection
4. In time: carrying out diagnostics and troubleshooting
You'll start in the day shift for your training. Later you'll work in the 2-shift system with the other mechanics.

5. Education and/or experience in mechanics, vehicle technology, etc.
6. Strong interest in trucks and other heavy vehicles
7. Willing to work every Saturday morning and have every Wednesday afternoon off
8. Own transport to reach the company (no public transport nearby)
