Our client, a fast-growing InsurTech company in Belgium, is looking for a Data Analyst to turn complex data into meaningful insights that fuel smarter decisions and innovative products.
In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of insurance, technology, and analytics, helping the business and its clients better understand risks, optimize pricing, and deliver tailored customer experiences.
1. Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to support business and product decisions.
2. Develop and maintain SAS models to drive insights on risk, pricing, and performance.
3. Build interactive business intelligence (BI) dashboards and reports to make insights accessible across teams.
4. Collaborate with product managers, underwriters, and engineers to design data-driven insurance solutions.
5. Contribute to advanced analytics projects, including predictive modeling and automation initiatives.
6. Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
7. Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
8. 3–7 years of experience in data analytics, ideally in insurance, financial services, or technology.
9. Strong expertise in SAS (must-have) for data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
10. Proven experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar).
11. Solid knowledge of SQL and data management best practices.
12. Strong analytical mindset, able to translate data into actionable insights.
13. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
14. Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch and/or French is a strong advantage.
