Mission
You act as the Mechanical Construction Lead for all mechanical construction activities on a large?scale data center project.
You monitor and report on the execution of mechanical systems (piping, HVAC, BMS) to ensure compliance with design, quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
You oversee the contractor's mechanical works against approved designs, specifications, and project timelines.
You verify adherence to client requirements, local regulations, and HSE standards.
You review and comment on technical submittals, RFIs, and method statements for compliance and constructability.
You coordinate with civil, electrical, and architectural leads to avoid interface issues and scope gaps.
You conduct site inspections, audits, track NCRs, and assess risks to ensure quality and compliance of mechanical installations.
You validate installed mechanical systems during testing, commissioning, and handover preparation phases.
Profile
You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
You bring proven experience in PMC or client?representative roles on large?scale construction projects, ideally data centers.
You have strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, including piping, HVAC, and BMS.
You are able to monitor and influence contractor performance without direct execution responsibility.
You are familiar with HSE standards, QA/QC processes, and risk management.
You demonstrate excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder?management skills.
You ensure structured oversight through audits, quality checks, documentation reviews, and HSE follow?up.
You work effectively in coordination with multiple disciplines and project teams.
