We are proud to say that our work touches the lives of people all around the world.OverviewAs an support engineer you are responsible for an adequate and coordinated follow-up on soft-, hardware and IT issues at our customers. You have a high interest in various technologies and a wide range of application, and eager to develop yourself as an expert in this matter. This role is a crucial position within the People ID operations division.Responsibilities:You will combine a passion for flawless execution of core HR operations & innovation for the future by. As support engineer, you will:Be in close contact with our customers and maintain a good communication on the issues reported.Incident registration, classification, handling and solvingFollow-up support tickets.Investigate the issues, collect all data needed to solve the issue.Solve issues or escalate these to the relevant teamsEnsure SLA’s towards our customers are respected.Provide Stand by support when required.Prepare, install, and maintain hardware at distributed locations worldwide.Assist in organizing a remote-controlled maintenance infrastructure.Test SW & HW and follow-up problems:Locate the problem; analyze, log-files, configuration, HW, ...Propose solutions.Follow-up the SW-implementation with the development team.You are the Interface between the client and ZetesConduct regular system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, and key processes.Your profileA higher degree in IT or an equivalent areaA problem solver resistant to stress and customer pressure.Strong communication skills.Eager to understand and learn.Understanding of database structures Write (complex) queries.Network basic concepts: TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP, HTTPS, Wireless protocols (4/5G, WiFi, GPS, ...), network topologies and schemes.Operating systems: Linux, Windows, ...Monitoring tools: ELT, Zabbix,...Network tracing software: Wireshark, FiddlerSource control knowledge: DevOps (configuration management, software deployment, automation, provisioning), Knowledge on AnsibleITIL knowledge (incident management,...)Software development backgroundLanguages: Dutch, French and EnglishWork ethic: punctual, reliable, professional, disciplined, great communicator, organized and structuredA positive can-do attitude and a good sense of humor.What We Offer:A value adding role in a multinational company..Opportunities for career advancement and skill enhancement.A competitive salary package, inclusive of extralegal benefits (meal vouchers, group insurance, DKV, etc.).Flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work to maintain work-life balance.Join Us: Zetes is committed to diversity and inclusion, inviting applications from all backgrounds to join our team.
