We’re looking for a Cybersecurity Architect to help shape secure, resilient solutions for the digital world. In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing and supporting secure systems across a wide range of industries. Your Role
As a Cybersecurity Architect, your mission will be to define secure architectures and guide the implementation of complex systems. You’ll bring technical leadership, structure, and a security-first mindset to help build innovative solutions that stand up to today’s cyber challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand security needs and translate them into secure system architectures;
2. Define cybersecurity strategies, high-level designs, and technical documentation to guide development;
3. Ensure security is embedded in system design and maintained throughout the lifecycle—from concept to validation and transition to service;
4. Provide expert guidance on topics such as secure protocols, data protection, identity management, and system hardening;
5. Interface with customers, stakeholders, and partners to align on architecture decisions and security requirements;
6. Support internal teams during implementation, testing, and deployment phases;
7. Help ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulatory frameworks, and risk management practices;
8. Stay current with cybersecurity threats, technologies, and methodologies.
Qualifications:
1. A Master's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or equivalent professional experience;
2. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in two or more of the following areas:
o Designing secure systems or platforms (e.g. embedded security, secure communications);
o Network architecture and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, VPNs, DNS, routing, firewalls...);
o System design using model-based engineering (e.g. Capella);
o Working with REST APIs, Kubernetes, Keycloak, or related technologies;
o Common Criteria or similar cybersecurity certification frameworks;
3. Industry certifications (Security+, GSEC, CISSP...);
4. Experience with EBIOS or similar risk analysis methodologies;
5. Familiarity with defense or critical infrastructure environments;
6. Experience with tools like DOORS, Polarion, Jira, Bitbucket;
7. Previous exposure to classified environments and crypto systems;
8. Strong analytical mindset and a proactive problem-solving attitude;
9. Good communicator, able to translate technical risks into business impact;
10. Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
