Read on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience.You will work on a variety of topics related to banking and finance, particularly around credit, risk, banking processes, and financial activities.The Functional Analyst identifies business issues, understands user needs, and designs solutions that can be integrated into the production environment, while evaluating their value and impact.Responsibilities : You will be involved in the full project lifecycle within an Agile environment.Discovery / Analysis phase :Support business analysts and stakeholders in defining business needsAnalyze business challenges related to banking activities (credit, risk, operations, etc.)Propose suitable solutions considering architecture, security, and cost/benefit analysisCollaborate with architects to define target solutionsEnsure coordination between business, IT teams, and stakeholdersDesign phase :Translate business needs into detailed functional requirementsDesign solutions by defining processes, data, and system impactsIdentify impacts across different application componentsAlign with technical teams on requirements and responsibilitiesProduce functional documentation (specifications, business rules, acceptance criteria)Build & delivery phase :Follow up on development to ensure alignment with specificationsCollaborate with IT teams on integration, APIs, and security topicsParticipate in testing phases (functional, integration, UAT)Analyze defects and contribute to their resolutionSupport deployment and release activitiesRun & support :Provide support to operations teams after go-liveAnalyze production incidents and coordinate their resolutionKeep documentation up to dateContribute to continuous improvement of processes and solutionsAgile environment :Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews)Work closely with the Product Owner on backlog managementCollaborate within cross-functional teams (analysis, development, testing)Embrace a mindset focused on feedback, adaptability, and continuous improvementProfile :Proven experience (3 to 5+ years) as a Business Analyst / Functional AnalystExperience in a banking / financial environment (mandatory)Good understanding of topics such as:credit / lendingrisk managementxjsrcvq banking processesfinancial products and operationsAbility to analyze complex problems and propose concrete solutionsGood understanding of IT systems and environmentsTechnical SkillsFunctional specifications writingKnowledge of APIs (design, documentation, testing)System modeling (UML, sequence diagrams, workflows)Ability to read code (SQL, Java, JSON/YAML)Understanding of application architectures and integration systemsKnowledge of cloud environmentsFamiliarity with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence)Knowledge of prioritization techniques (MoSCoW)LanguagesEnglish: professional level requiredFrench and/or Dutch: at least one local language requiredWorking SetupAgile environmentHybrid working model: 50% on-site / 50% remote
