Responsibilities
Blockchain Development
* Design, develop, and deploy blockchain-based applications.
* Write secure and efficient smart contracts using Solidity, Rust, or other blockchain-specific languages.
* Implement Layer-2 scaling solutions and off-chain computation when required.
Network and Protocol Development
* Build and integrate blockchain protocols into existing systems.
* Work on custom blockchains and decentralized networks, including private and consortium chains.
Integration and Optimization
* Integrate blockchain solutions with front-end and back-end systems.
* Optimize transaction costs, speed, and scalability of blockchain applications.
Research and Innovation
* Research emerging technologies like DeFi, NFTs, Layer-2 solutions, and DAOs.
* Identify opportunities for implementing advanced cryptographic solutions in real-world applications.
Testing and Debugging
* Conduct rigorous testing and debugging of blockchain applications to ensure functionality and security.
* Audit and resolve vulnerabilities in smart contracts and protocols.
* Work with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver cohesive products.
* Provide technical expertise in client discussions and pre-sales activities.
Required Skills
Blockchain Expertise
* Proficient in developing smart contracts using Solidity (Ethereum) or Rust (Solana/Polkadot).
* Experience working with blockchain frameworks like Hyperledger, Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or Polygon.
* Understanding of consensus mechanisms like Proof of Work (PoW), Proof of Stake (PoS), or Delegated PoS (DPoS).
Programming Skills
* Hands-on experience with Web3.js, Ethers.js, or similar libraries for blockchain interaction.
Cryptography and Security
* Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, hashing functions, and encryption.
* Familiarity with secure coding practices to prevent vulnerabilities like reentrancy and overflow.
Database and APIs
* Experience with IPFS, blockchain oracles, and decentralized storage solutions.
* Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Soft Skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
* Certification in blockchain technologies or related areas.
* Prior experience in DeFi, NFT marketplaces, or decentralized exchanges is a plus.
