Chemours is seeking a
Master Production Scheduler
to join our growing
APM EMEA Supply Chain
team. This position will be available at the
Mechelen site (hybrid)
and reports directly to the EMEA Supply Chain Manager.
The Master Production Scheduler is accountable for the creation and communication of monthly/weekly production and inventory plans (focus on 0-3 month horizon) that meet demand requirements from the CIBM / S&OP Planning process including open sales orders, and meeting Service level targets as determined by the business.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Ensures the production requirements are in OMP/SAP for execution by operations
* Executes capacity analysis to review the feasibility of load on the assets. Prepare scenarios as input for supply reviews
* Responsible for creating and executing master scheduling time horizons and periods in accordance with business strategies and policies
* Play a key role in the DLF process (Demand Lead Fulfillment) for material availability input. By turn as chair
* Works with Demand planner, Operations/Sales/Product managers, supervisors, material planners, customer service, warehouse employees
* Maintain and update tools/systems regarding master-data/settings to support accurate information as an enabler for (scenario) planning
* Coordinate SMORDI process (Slow/Non-moving inventory) as chairman
* Initiates actions to resolve issues independently without the intervention of the management.
* Back up for other tasks/roles within the SC team (Raw Material Planner)
* Responsible for continuous improvement of the master scheduling process, performance, and other relevant area's by monitoring KPI's (e.g. DTP - Delivery To Promise)
* Demonstrate analysis skills by transforming (big)data into information
The Following Is Required For This Role
* Bachelor level (HBO) - preference for Logistics or Supply Chain Management
* Experience in a comparable role for at least 3 years with proven scheduler capabilities
* In-depth understanding of manufacturing process, inventory management, and administration processes within a Supply Chain environment
* Advanced Excel capabilities
* Excellent communication skills
* Fluent in written and oral Dutch and English
The Following Is Preferred For This Role
* Supply planning knowledge - APICS CPIM certified
* Experience with SAP/BW and scheduling systems
