The AXA Belgium Chief Security Office oversees all activities needed to deliver, maintain, and demonstrate adequate protection and continuity of AXA Belgium information, employees, and services.
Within the Chief Security Office, the Physical Security & Operational Resilience domain’s mission is to work with all relevant operations teams in AXA Belgium (Building & Facilities, Comms/Reputation, IT incident mgmt., etc) to adequately prepare/ test/ assure/ coordinate physical security and operational resilience matters.
This includes activities such as Physical Security Management, Crisis Coordination & DORA incident reporting, overarching support and testing of incident/crisis and business continuity scenarios and procedures.
Your Profile
As member of the CSO department and Physical Security & Operational Resilience domain, your specific responsibilities are:
1. Reviewing and updating of Security Management Policies, plans and (operational) procedures Assist the Physical Security Manager in establishing the Security policies in the AXA Belgium structure Facilitate operational security support to the Security guarding and Control Room Threat and trend evaluation including horizon scanning
2. Assist the PSM and Health & Safety manager on Business travel security policies
3. Plans and operational follow up of business travel Assist the security stakeholders in deploying higher security awareness in the professional context
4. Using awareness campaigns, e learnings and dedicated projects
5. Follow up and/or assist in the roll out of (physical) security projects, linked to infrastructure and/or employees
You are a part of the AXA BE Crisis management structure.
In that role you will:
6. Assist, in crisis and incident situations
7. Maintain and support to the role of crisis coordinator, including exercises (organisation)
8. Training and follow up on crisis related support applications
9. Reporting on CMT requirements from AXA Group
As a Security Oversight Expert, your general responsibilities are:
10. Accountable for maturity and effectiveness of control objectives (ISO27K & internal security assurance framework) in a specific security area
11. Understands full AXA Belgium landscape in relation to this area
12. Collaborates with all related security execution & other teams
13. Provides deep security expertise
14. Ensures assurance & evidences Identifies gaps, details and drives security risk reduction activities (incl. project mgmt.)
15. Produces clear management presentations on security area status & progress
For this role of Security Oversight Expert, we are looking for someone who has
16. A bachelor degree in computer sciences, technology or a related area; an education on Security topics is an asset
17. At least 3 years experience in a similar function;
18. A certification in the Information Security and/or Information Technology is a distinct advantage;
19. Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written in French and/or Dutch, and fluent English;
20. Experience in a multinational business is an advantage;
21. A strong facilitator, negotiator and focused on resolving conflicts;
22. A good ability to work at management level;
23. A real team player;
24. Someone capable of thinking analytically in order to grasp complex business scenarios.
