PM Group are seeking an experienced and talented Electrical Lead/ Package Owner to lead all aspects of the electrical package for a high-profile Mission Critical Data Center construction project in the Mons, Belgium region.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with significant experience in managing the electrical discipline in the execution of large-scale Mission Critical / Data Center construction projects throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring delivery to the highest standards while maintaining compliance with stringent industry requirements and Belgian regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
1. Take ownership of the Electrical Discipline working as part of a multi-disciplinary project delivery team
2. Support client starting from tender process with the General Contractor (GC) and Long Lead Items (LLI) and manage GC throughout the project
3. Review and monitor detailed design from the GC and ensure that client requirements and building permit design are met
4. Monitor and inspect electrical installation in accordance with PM Group Quality System and National, International & site-specific standards
5. Identify and evaluate MCC’s/Electrical installations, integrity and efficiency improvements
6. Scope review on submitted tenders from GC and vendors until contract completion
7. Project execution will focus on safety, schedule, and cost management adherence while complying with good engineering practices, company policies and all applicable regulations and codes
8. Strict adherence to safe working practices as set out in the safety statement and other company safety rules
9. Interface with client representatives, regulatory bodies, and local authorities
10. Identify and mitigate technical risks for all electrical works
11. Manage electrical budget allocation and cost control measures
12. Deliver electrical milestones in line with overall project timeline
Qualifications
13. Ideally Dipl. Ing. or min. BSc Degree in Electronic or Electrical engineering or technical/vocational equivalent
14. 10+ years’ experience in delivering Electrical Mission Critical / Data Center projects
15. Experience in Digital Project Execution is an advantage
16. Ability to read, understand and fault-find: Electrical schematics/systems, Instrument Loop Drawings/Panel wiring drawings during FATs or on-site commissioning
17. Knowledge and Experience of Hazardous areas and ATEX requirements would be advantageous
18. Excellent communication & organization skills with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels from project teams to site leadership team
19. Strong computer MS Office skills
20. Experience of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) an advantage.
21. Professional working proficiency in English
