The roleAs a Senior FPGA Engineer, you will play a key technical role within the in-house R&D team, taking ownership of FPGA and SoC design activities across the full development lifecycle. This is a hands-on position with influence over architecture decisions, technical direction and the adoption of new technologies.Key responsibilitiesLead and contribute to the architecture, design and implementation of electronic hardware projects across multiple domains, including broadcast, ProAV and medicalDefine and specify FPGA / SoC architectures aligned with system-level requirementsDesign, implement and optimise FPGA / SoC solutions using VHDLPerform and oversee FPGA testing, verification and validation in a laboratory environmentSupport debugging and integration activities alongside hardware and software teamsExplore, evaluate and introduce new technologies within R&D and research programmesProvide technical guidance and mentorship to more junior engineers where requiredWhat we're looking forMaster's degree in Electronic or Electrical EngineeringSenior-level experience in FPGA development (typically 5+ years), ideally within video and/or image processingStrong, hands-on expertise in VHDL, including design, simulation, verification and debuggingExperience defining FPGA / SoC architectures for complex systemsWorking knowledge of C and experience interfacing with microcontrollersExposure to board-level design (schematics, PCB layout, bring-up) is a strong advantageComfortable operating with technical autonomy and contributing to architectural and design decisionsSoft skillsStrong passion for technology and engineering excellenceClear communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented mindsetAbility to work across disciplines and contribute to a high-performing engineering cultureLanguagesGood working knowledge of English or FrenchWhat's on offerA dynamic, technically driven environment that values diversity, expertise and innovationCompetitive salary package with a comprehensive range of benefitsA structured career development and continuous learning programmeThe opportunity to work on cutting-edge, low-latency video and imaging technologies used in demanding applications
