Junior KYC Analyst – Group Life & Individual LifeAbout the MissionWe are looking for KYC Analyst to support a regulatory compliance project focused on AML periodic recertification for both Corporate and Individual Life clients.The mission aims to ensure full compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) and AML/CTF regulatory requirements, guaranteeing accuracy, completeness, and proper risk classification of client files.Mission ObjectiveSupport the organization in achieving full regulatory compliance by reviewing, updating, and completing client due-diligence (CDD) files in line with AML/CTF standards and internal policies.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform KYC checks relating to periodic and event-driven reviewsCollect, verify, and assess customer identification documents and beneficial ownership informationConduct customer risk assessments and determine risk classification levelsPerform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high-risk clients (PEPs, sanctions exposure, high-risk industries or jurisdictions)Screen clients against sanctions lists, PEP databases, and adverse media sourcesReview screening alerts and assess true matches requiring escalationIdentify potential financial crime risks and escalate concerns where necessaryProvide clear documentation and rationale for escalationsMeet KPIs and contribute to timely completion of periodic recertificationRequired ProfileEducationBachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business, Compliance, or related fieldExperience1–3 years of experience in KYC, AML, compliance, or customer due diligence (depending on level)Good understanding of AML legal requirementsExperience with KYC/AML tools (World-Check, Finscan, Comply Advantage, etc.) is a plusSkills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and investigative skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to work accurately under time pressureStrong written and verbal communication skillsCritical thinking and solution-oriented mindsetAbility to work independently and in a team environmentLanguagesProfessional working proficiency in Dutch or FrenchProfessional working proficiency in English
