We are recruiting an HR Lead / Head of People to join our dynamic team at IBGraf!

* Office
You will work a minimum of 2 days/week in our offices in Herstal (remote work possible for the rest).

* Languages
Fluent French, Dutch appreciated (English useful).

* Challenges
Create the HR function (vision, priorities, routines); balance strategy (≈60%) and execution (≈40%); collaborate with diverse profiles; work daily with the Accounting team (salaries, sick leave, bonuses, declarations) and in permanent partnership with the Finance/HR team; monitor and secure social legislation in BE/LU; manage multiple priorities in parallel with rigor and flexibility.

We are recruiting an HR Lead / Head of People to create the HR function at IBGraf Group!

Are you organized, rigorous, discreet, and have excellent interpersonal skills?
Do you like building from scratch and moving from strategy to operations in the same day?
In an SME of 50 people, you will be the person who establishes and manages the HR function from A to Z.

A role at the heart of people and structure

Joining the team means building more than just managing files. You will become the architect of our People & Culture strategy, as this role does not yet exist: you lay the foundations, deploy simple processes that last, and measure the impact.

Your new challenge

* 90 days: People diagnostic (processes, culture, BE/LU risks), prioritized mini-roadmap and initial quick wins (priority recruitment, "day 1 → 90" onboarding, manager rituals).
* 6–12 months: implement key processes (recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, interviews, training, pragmatic C&B), HR dashboard (turnover, time-to-hire, absences, eNPS), ensured Belgium/Luxembourg compliance.
* Build and maintain the HR function: simple policies, rhythms, documentation.
* Recruit & integrate: method, targeted sourcing, clear promise, candidate experience.
* People & culture: feedback rituals, skills development, social climate.
* C&B: optimize an SME package (subsidies, benefits, internal equity), propose realistic choices.
* Payroll & benefits: collect/control variables, finalize payroll with the social secretariat in close collaboration with Accounting, manage illnesses/work accidents, bonuses, benefits, and ensure compliance.
* Data & tools: choose/configure the HR tool (Odoo = +) and monitor indicators.
* Partner to Management: translate business priorities into a measured People plan.
* Local employer brand: visibility, schools/communities, co-optation.

Your profile

* You have already built or significantly structured an HR component in an SME/startup/scale-up (or you have concrete proof of this).
* You enjoy both thinking and doing: writing a policy in the morning, conducting an interview in the afternoon.
* Solid foundation in Belgian social legislation (Lux = asset); you know how to work with a social secretariat.
* Comfortable with numbers and natural collaboration with Accounting/Finance (payroll, variables, budgets, reporting).
* Excellent organization, prioritization, communication, and service-mindedness.
* Autonomy, reliability, team spirit; you know how to keep things simple and deliver on your commitments.
* Proficiency in office tools and HR software (knowledge of Odoo = a plus).

* Exchange sessions with 2 staff members (goal: better understand the organization, behind the scenes, discuss more down-to-earth topics)

* Contract offer and meeting with the 2 directors (Bruno and Matthieu)
