Hybrid Inside Sales/Account Manager

Location: Brussels (home office flexibility)

Region: Belgium (nationwide)

Languages: Dutch & French required (English optional)

My client are a fast-growing distributor of heating and cooling solutions for industrial and commercial applications, based in Brussels, Belgium.

The company focuses on providing high-quality, technically driven HVAC systems through strong partnerships with leading international manufacturers.

Their clients include major installation and engineering firms across Belgium.

They take pride in our flexibility, technical know-how, and customer-focused approach.

The Role

As Hybrid Inside Sales/Account Manager, you will manage the entire sales process for Belgium — from technical consultation and quotation follow-up to client relationship management.

You will balance inside sales (50%) with field activity (50%), working closely with two inside-sales colleagues and the BD Manager.

This is a flexible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys both the technical and commercial sides of HVAC projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle daily quotation requests and follow up with customers.
* Visit clients to assess technical needs, gather project data, and develop tailored solutions.
* Perform or review heat-loss calculations and heat-pump system designs.
* Provide technical input and realistic recommendations for heating and cooling solutions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with installation companies and end-users.
* Collaborate with engineers and inside-sales staff to ensure timely, accurate project delivery.
* Represent the company professionally and proactively develop your network in Belgium.

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

* Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electromechanical or Industrial Engineering.
* Experience with heat pumps, gas/electric heating, or HVAC system design.
* Familiar with large installation companies and industrial/commercial HVAC projects.

Skills & Competencies

* Solid grasp of heat-loss calculations and system sizing.
* Understanding of how heat pumps integrate into larger systems.
* Practical mindset – able to balance engineering ideals with real-world constraints.
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
* Able to work independently within a small, flexible team.

Languages

* Dutch and French – fluent level required (approx. 50/50 client split).
* English a plus.
