Job description Arts and Culture Coordinator (Europe) helps promote Hong Kong in Europe on arts and cultural front. Duties include -
1. Project implementation: planning, implementing and coordinating projects and events in collaboration with artists and stakeholders to promote Hong Kong's arts and culture in Europe
2. Cultural liaison: establish contacts and maintain an arts and cultural network representing Hong Kong interests in Europe
3. Publicity support: managing social media and other publicity work to promote Hong Kong as an international arts and cultural centre
4. Event management: support Hong Kong artists/art groups/delegations in cultural events in Europe to foster Hong Kong-Europe exchanges
Profile The candidate should have –
1. A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent; majoring in arts management, performing arts and creative industries such as music, dance, drama, stage design, or arts and culture-related disciplines will be given priority;
Considerable working experience in arts and cultural administration, public relations and/or event management fields;
Language proficiency:
Excellent command of written and spoken English;
Proficient in either French or Dutch would be given priority;
Knowledge of additional languages is considered an advantage;
Internet and social media savvy; and
A good team player with a strong sense of responsibility and effective organisational, presentation and communication skills.
