Schedule & Data Coordinator
The Schedule & Data Coordinator willprincipally be focused on overall schedule management, development &testing.
The key elements to the role are:
- Be a focal point for schedule related matters.
- Support and manage the schedule platform
- Focus on schedule accuracy & quality of data.
- Maintain & manage schedule reliability towards other MSC platforms.
- Elimination of avoidable costs.
- Engage with Key stakeholders on schedule failures & improvement actions.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible and accountable forall of the following and should therefore be aware of and be able to report onthe general situation of the schedule platform, reporting to management whenand where required.
Daily Schedule updating management.
Ensure end of regions are updated to match actual last port of region when rotation changes are made that impact the original declared proforma EOR.
Ensure within the 5-week window that all departures are either assigned a vessel or declared blank sailing.
Identify all TBN sailings and raise with Network, Planning and discuss actions to take, updating with an official vessel sailing or declare as blank sailing.
Ensure there is schedule coordination between all parties making sure there are no unmanaged schedules or vessels within a specific service..
Focus on and facilitate the organization’s strategy for schedule reliability within the network.
Ensure continuous analyse of data to identify any areas of possible improvements.
Ensure that the schedules of the vessels are managed to optimum reliability while taking into consideration the constraints of the network.
Assist the Planning teams in day-to-day schedule maintenance.
Monitor and manage the accuracy of information provided in terms of uploading and validation of the schedule platform.
Analyse vessel performance against Proforma / Live Schedules.
Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with All schedule coordinators, Planners, Port Captains, and Network Area Managers.
Escalation of key reportable issues.
Constant Cost analysis.
Look and develop any improvements within the schedule platform that would benefit the users and the business.
Education level/Experience
Minimum a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a similar role
English: Fluent
Excellent planning and organization skills
Attention to detail: Advanced
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook): excellent knowledge
