You will be responsible for driving sales performance, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring optimal utilization of Abbott’s diabetes care solutions, including Freestyle Libre.This role requires strategic thinking, excellent leadership, and a strong understanding of the healthcare environment, particularly in secondary care. You will actively contribute to the development of the segment, prepare the field for tenders, and engage with key stakeholders.Lead, coach, and support the Key Account Manager team to achieve sales KPIs and foster customer engagementDevelop and execute tactical and strategic plans to maintain Abbott’s market leadership in diabetes careAnalyze customer insights and translate them into actionable solutions and projectsBuild and maintain a network of key opinion leaders and stakeholders in secondary careCoordinate educational initiatives, congresses, and events to improve healthcare outcomesAct as the primary contact for Marketing and Contract & Tender departmentsPrepare the team for tender processes and represent the sales function in market consultation meetingsNegotiate business opportunities and contracts with healthcare institutionsCollaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Primary Care Sales Manager, Marketing, and other departmentsYour Profile:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific or medical field, or equivalent experienceFluent in French, Dutch, and English (verbal and written)Proven experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales; knowledge of the diabetes market is a plusStrong leadership skills with at least 2–3 years of experience managing a sales teamMinimum 4 years of experience in healthcare sales with high-value solutionsExperience in tender and contract management is an assetProficient in MS Office SuiteStrong team leadership and coaching abilitiesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsCommercially driven with a customer-centric mindsetAnalytical and strategic thinkingAbility to build bridges across teams and foster collaborationHigh integrity and professionalism in stakeholder interactionsAt Abbott, you will enjoy a purpose-driven career with a global healthcare leader.
