Ph3Lead Engineer – New Builds /h3pAs a Lead Engineer – New Builds within the Fleet Investments department, you play a key role in the technical realization of DEME’s new build vessels and asset development projects. You are responsible for coordinating and steering the engineering scope from concept development through to detailed design and construction support. /ppWorking closely with the Project Manager, you ensure that the technical solution delivered is fully aligned with the initial requirements, meets performance expectations, and is realized within the defined timeline. You act as the central engineering lead, integrating inputs across disciplines and guiding both internal and external engineering partners. /ppDepending on the project size, you either act as the right hand of the Project Manager on large, complex projects, or take full ownership of smaller engineering projects from A to Z. /ph3Production Engineer – EDT /h3pA production engineer working in the EDT department (Engineering, Design Technology) provides support in both tender and execution stage of a dredging land reclamation project. It involves close cooperation between various departments, project teams and experienced crew on board of our fleet. Through a methodical, systematic and structured approach based on both theoretical and practical insights, we create as a team expert advice, profound analyses and smart solutions to bring operational excellence in DEME to a higher level. /ppWhen a production engineer starts at EDT, the focus will be initially with support in tender stage to get acquainted with the dredging industry, calculation methods, … . But experiencing the dredging operations on board is an important part of the learning curve which will be initiated very soon. Gradually more exposure will be given providing expert support to the project in execution as well. /ppYou will work as a part of the EDT team in our HQ in Zwijndrecht, near Antwerp (Belgium). Close follow‑up, coaching and guidance will be provided of course by senior colleagues in our team. /ppNext to production engineering, the EDT team in activity line Dredging provides support as well in Geology, Geotechnics, Coastal Engineering, Environmental engineering and Wear Tear expertise. This makes the EDT team highly diverse in expertise and as such complementary to cover many expert aspects in supporting our projects. /ph3Project Administrator / Document Controller /h3pAs a Project administrator / Document Controller, you will be responsible for the project management system. You will provide a document control service, maintaining effective control of all project documentation, consistent with company standards, processes and project eDMS systems (Aconex or Sharepoint). /ph3Category Buyer – Chartering /h3pAs Category Buyer Chartering you will be responsible for a correct execution and follow up of the entire chartering process for certain segments of vessel types chartered to support DEME’s activities worldwide. You will be part of a team consisting of 5 colleagues. /ph3Senior .NET Developer /h3pWe are looking for a senior .NET developer with a strong backend focus and solid frontend knowledge, who enjoys working both on existing (legacy) applications and on the modernization towards future‑proof solutions. /ppYou will play a key role in maintaining, modernizing and building business‑critical systems, while gradually taking ownership within the team and contributing to the overall technical direction. /ppThe role combines working on existing applications, modernizing legacy systems and building new solutions based on evolving business needs, with the opportunity to take end‑to‑end ownership and grow towards a more senior or leading role over time. /ph3Service Desk Engineer /h3pAs a Service Desk Engineer, you will play a vital role in providing efficient and timely support to our organization’s users through the ServiceNow ticketing tool. You will be responsible for managing and resolving various IT‑related issues, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering excellent customer service. /ph3Project Manager – New Builds /h3pAs a Project Manager – New Builds you are responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of large and complex investment projects, ranging from new vessel builds to major equipment and conversion projects. You take ownership from early concept development through to final delivery and integration into the fleet. /ppOperating at the intersection of technical, financial, and operational domains, you ensure that projects are executed safely, within budget, on schedule, and in line with performance expectations. You act as the central point of coordination across multiple stakeholders, translating business needs into robust technical solutions and driving projects towards successful completion. /ph3Technical Supervisor – Fleet Interventions /h3pAs a Technical Supervisor for our Fleet Interventions department, you are at the heart of technical interventions on our vessels and assets worldwide. You prepare and supervise dry‑dockings, maintenance, repair, mobilization and upgrade scopes on site, making sure safety, quality, planning and budget remain fully under control. Working closely with project teams, vessel crews, yards and subcontractors, you turn preparation into smooth execution and solve issues where they arise. This is a hands‑on rotational role with limited office presence and strong international exposure, offering the opportunity to work across different vessels, locations, cultures and technical disciplines while continuously expanding your expertise. /ph3Legal Secretary /h3pAs a Legal Secretary you will support and contribute to the swift operations of the company’s Legal Department. You will work at the head office of the company in Zwijndrecht, where you will join a highly qualified and motivated team of legal and insurance counsels, engaged in providing legal expertise to the company.
