We're looking for an experienced consultant to join our client's team and contribute to a transformative project involving a hybrid data landscape. This will encompass a Microsoft Azure Cloud environment integrated with various applications and a robust reporting tool. The team is working diligently to realize advanced analytical use cases by integrating multiple data sources while enhancing the operational framework by migrating to an advanced data platform.
Responsibilities
As a key contributor, you will play a significant role in ensuring the seamless delivery of business intelligence and analytics projects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting requirement analyses to understand data and BI needs.
* Developing technical designs and data modeling within Azure Databricks.
* Creating visualizations and reports using Power BI.
* Managing and supporting BI and data platforms, including daily operations and incident management.
* Acting as a liaison to business users for functional support.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
The perfect addition to our client's team will have a proven track record and expertise in the following areas:
* Demonstrated experience as a BI consultant (minimum of 3 years).
* Proficiency in data management and ETL processes.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Azure environments and Databricks.
* Strong knowledge of Python programming and SQL scripting.
* Experience with star schema modeling and operational support.
* Fluency in Dutch (CEFR C2) and English.
Desirable Skills
While not mandatory, the following skills would enhance your application:
* Experience in data analysis and information modeling.
* Knowledge of energy market processes and relevant regulations.
* Familiarity with reporting tools, including Power BI.
* Experience in requirements analysis.
