Roles & Responsibilities
As Senior Manager CFO Advisory – Banking you’ll lead a team of experts on a range of CFO projects and work closely with clients in banking sector. This includes:
Project management:
1. Drive, manage and operationally steer CFO Advisory related assignments in close coordination with the responsible Partner and the operational team members.
2. Manage small to large teams to deliver projects with an enterprise-wide impact.
3. Assist clients with practical recommendations and best practices to improve business and finance processes.
Commercial management:
4. Drive, manage and operationally steer business development activities, from lead identification to the presentation of pitches and preparing proposals to potential clients.
5. Support in expanding KPMG CFO Advisory’s growing footprint in the Belgian market.
6. Assist in the development of new and improved CFO Advisory service offerings with specific focus on the Banking Market.
People management:
7. As a performance manager, manage, develop, motivate, train, and coach team members to maximize the achievement of their potential.
8. Coach and lead your operational team(s) by example both on hard and soft skills, in accordance with KPMG’s quality, ethical and people management standards.
9. Develop expertise and knowledge of a variety of clients and markets, and awareness of KPMG’s service offerings.

Skills & Qualifications
10. Master’s degree with 10-12 years of experience in financial management consulting, with a clear focus on corporate finance.
11. Deep understanding of corporate value chain and related processes.
12. Familiarity with topics such as Finance Transformation, Financial Reporting and Accounting.
13. Previous experience with tools and systems used within finance function (e.g. ERP, software for accounting, planning, reporting, RPA / automation software).
14. Leadership experience.
15. Attach great importance to delivering high-quality work and respect deadlines.
16. Strong soft skills: stress-resistance, flexibility, client and service-minded, ability to work in teams.
