Context
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Vice President (SVP) to join our Small Cap Transaction Advisory Services team to cover the Flemish market. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years of professional seniority and at least 3 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, with a proven track record in deal execution, team leadership, and commercial development.
Your position
* End-to-End Deal Execution: Lead and manage corporate finance mandates from origination to closing, including valuation, financial modeling, due diligence coordination, negotiation, and documentation.
* Team Leadership: Act as deal captain, mentoring and managing junior and mid-level team members. Provide strategic guidance and ensure high-quality deliverables.
* Business Development: Proactively source new mandates and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and intermediaries. Contribute to the team’s commercial strategy and growth.
* Client Advisory: Deliver high-impact strategic and financial advice to clients, leveraging deep sector knowledge and transaction experience.
* Internal Collaboration: Work closely with other departments within the Bank to leverage the full spectrum of Degroof Petercam’s service offering.
Your profile
* Corporate Finance Expertise: Demonstrated track record in executing M&A and capital raising transactions, particularly in the small-cap segment.
* Leadership: Proven experience in managing deal teams and mentoring professionals.
* Commercial Acumen: Strong business development skills and experience in deal sourcing.
* Languages: Trilingual proficiency in Dutch, French, and English is essential.
* Institutional Knowledge: Familiarity with Degroof Petercam’s internal organization and service offering is a strong asset.
