Supplier Accounting Manager (m/f/x)
To strengthen our finance team in the Shared Service division of Avnet EMEA in Tongeren, we are looking for an experienced leader as Manager, Supplier Accounting (m/f/x).
In this responsible position, you will have a key role in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, SOX compliance and the management of our Supplier Claims Team.
Your responsibilities:
Monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
1. Independent preparation and execution of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for four companies of the Avnet EMEA Group
2. Receipt, preparation and analysis of business data
3. Calculation of provisions as well as posting and reversal of journal entries
4. Status reporting to specialist departments and controlling
5. Ensuring VAT and Intrastat compliance and processing corresponding enquiries
SOX compliance (4 companies)
6. Extracting and preparing data for SOX reports
7. Uploading reports to the SOX reporting tool
8. Uploading reconciliations to an additional SOX tracking tool on a quarterly basis
9. Contact person for internal and external auditors
10. Processing ad hoc enquiries in the context of internal and external audits
Management of the Ship & Debit and Supplier Claims team
11. You will take on the technical and disciplinary management of a five-person team responsible for industry-specific processes in the area of supplier claims
12. Ensuring weekly, monthly and ad hoc claims to suppliers
13. Checking the receipt of credit notes and reconciling them with outstanding receivables
14. Analysing and clarifying major discrepancies
15. Preparing month-end reports, including aged claims reports
Your profile:
16. Several years of experience in finance and accounting
17. In-depth knowledge of SAP FI, ideally also MM and S&D
18. Experience in SOX compliance is an advantage
19. Understanding of controlling is desirable
20. Very good written and spoken English
21. German skills are an advantage
22. Strong communication and leadership skills
23. Structured, analytical and independent way of working
