The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) leads the Development team and oversees all IT initiatives, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions, IT systems, and processes. This role ensures technological excellence, operational stability, and the achievement of strategic development goals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and execute a clear technology vision and roadmap aligned with business goals. Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans that drive innovation and performance. Lead and mentor a high-performing Development team with diverse skill sets. Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement. Establish and manage the organization’s IT architecture strategy, ensuring it aligns with industry standards, organizational needs, and budget constraints. Promote integration and coherence across products and platforms. Software Development Management
Oversee the planning and execution of mid- and long-term development projects, ensuring resource optimization, delivery performance, and service quality. Act as the lead for critical IT projects and serve as the key escalation point for IT-related risks. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement effective solutions.
Cross-Functional Alignment
Ensure seamless integration of technology across departments and applications, fostering system coherence and operational efficiency.
Performance Monitoring & Coaching
Set clear objectives, provide ongoing feedback, and facilitate professional growth within the Development team. Monitor performance to maintain a high level of satisfaction and retention.
Market & Regulatory Awareness
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments to ensure the organization remains competitive and compliant.
EDUCATION
Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in B2B sales, preferably within feed, life sciences, distribution, or animal nutrition. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 10 years in a broad IT leadership role, with demonstrable success in software development and technology strategy. DESIRED SKILLS
