This is a senior leadership role with full strategic ownership and direct reporting to the CEO — focused on shaping and executing the commercial strategy, not day-to-day operations. The role is designed for a leader who thrives on autonomy, wants to build and develop a high-performing team, and has the ambition to grow their remit over time. /p pThe Commercial Director will be accountable for: /p ul liDefining and executing a margin and revenue growth strategy /li liFull PL ownership for the commercial organization /li liBuilding and leading a team of senior commercial professionals across the region /li liStrengthening relationships with key distributors, contractors, and building owners /li /ul h3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 h3Strategy Commercial Leadership /h3 ul liDevelop and implement a commercial strategy that delivers sustainable growth across European markets /li liOwn the PL — accountable for achieving sales and margin results that outpace industry performance /li liMaintain a laser focus on Key and Strategic Accounts, identifying new opportunities based on customer insights and market trends /li liCollaborate with Marketing, Finance, and other business units to ensure commercial alignment /li /ul h3Team Leadership Development /h3 ul liLead, mentor, and develop a team of senior commercial professionals /li liBuild a robust people strategy to drive organizational capability and develop future leadership bench /li liInspire a high-performance culture with a focus on accountability and results /li /ul h3Strategic Impact Growth /h3 ul liPlay a key role in making Holcim a premier place to work /li liLeverage autonomy to shape strategy, build networks, and own outcomes /li liPosition designed for a leader with the ambition to expand their remit over time /li /ul h3REQUIREMENTS /h3 h3Experience /h3 ul li10+ years of commercial or sales leadership experience /li liProven track record of leading teams and driving business results across multiple markets /li liExperience in roofing, waterproofing, construction chemicals, or building materials wholesale is highly preferred /li /ul h3Leadership Personal Competences /h3 ul liAbility to lead through influence, not just command and control /li liDemonstrated strategic thinking — capable of uncovering opportunities in both emerging and mature markets /li liStrong autonomy and initiative — comfortable owning strategy and outcomes /li liCustomer-centric mindset with a focus on building lasting relationships /li liMotivate and inspire teams to deliver outstanding performance /li /ul h3Technical Practical /h3 ul liFluent in English; French, Dutch, or German are strong assets /li liFrequent travel across Europe /li liStrong business acumen with understanding of operations and supply chain /li liExperience with PL management and commercial strategy development /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
