Sourcing Manager (EMENA)
We’re looking for a motivated Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead EMENA sourcing activities, negotiate competitive prices, strengthen supplier relationships, and secure high-quality product availability. Your work will directly support business performance through cost optimization, supplier development, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
What you bring
1. Min. 5 years of purchasing/negotiation experience (incl. 2 years in chemical industry)
2. Strong knowledge of EMENA chemical markets, sourcing processes & category management
3. Experience in sourcing direct/indirect materials; Asia & China sourcing is a plus
4. Understanding of costing & financial principles
5. Fluent English; Dutch/French are an advantage
6. Strong MS Office skills; SAP experience is a plus
7. Project management skills & continuous improvement mindset
8. Excellent negotiation, communication & stakeholder management abilities
Key responsibilities
9. Optimize total cost of ownership & ensure supply continuity
10. Conduct market research and spend analysis
11. Identify alternative raw material suppliers
12. Lead negotiations for high-impact indirect spend
13. Manage supplier database, performance reviews & risk assessments
14. Prepare analytical reports supporting procurement KPIs & market insights
