To support their continued growth, they are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join their in-house legal team and provide hands-on legal support across all phases of development projects.Provide strategic and operational legal advice on real estate transactions in Belgium and LuxembourgDraft, review and negotiate a broad range of contracts (LOIs, sales and purchase agreements, rights in rem, construction contracts, leases, shareholder agreements, etc.)Support project structuring and incorporation of joint ventures or special purpose vehiclesAssess legal risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policiesCollaborate with internal stakeholders (development, sales, project management, finance, insurance) and external parties (law firms, notaries)Follow-up on public procurement files and potential PPP initiativesContribute to internal legal knowledge and assist in the resolution of legal disputes when they ariseParticipate in internal and external project meetings, offering pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice. Your profileMaster of Laws from a Belgian universityMinimum of 8 years’ relevant experience, including in a law firm and/or in-house legal departmentIn-depth knowledge of real estate law; additional familiarity with tax law, M&A, planning or PPP is a plusExcellent legal drafting and negotiation skills, with a business-oriented mindsetTeam player with strong communication skills and the ability to work independentlyFluent in French, Dutch and EnglishFlexible, pragmatic and open-minded approach to legal problem-solving.
