Account Manager – Industrial Automation (Wallonia | Hybrid)
A leading international player in industrial automation solutions is expanding its commercial team in Wallonia.
French native knowledge is required along with a professional English speaking level.
We are looking for an Account Manager with a strong technical affinity who enjoys combining business development with long-term client relationships in a highly technical environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge automation technologies and collaborate with key industrial actors such as machine builders (OEMs) and system integrators.
Account Manager – Industrial Automation - Your responsibilities
* Develop and manage a portfolio of industrial clients across Wallonia
* Proactively identify and engage new business opportunities (50% hunting)
* Build strong, long-term relationships with existing customers (50% farming)
* Advise clients on automation solutions to improve their production processes
* Act as a trusted partner for both technical and commercial discussions
* Collaborate closely with internal technical teams to deliver tailored solutions
Account Manager – Industrial Automation - Your profile
* Proven experience in technical sales, ideally within industrial automation
* Strong understanding of industrial environments, production lines or control systems (PLC, drives, etc.)
* Ability to engage with engineers, project managers and technical stakeholders
* Hunter mindset combined with relationship-building skills
* Autonomous, proactive and results-driven
* Fluent in French and professional level of English (Dutch is a plus)
