Construction Contract Manager - Data Center

Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Contract Manager to support large-scale, mission-critical data center developments in Campinas, Brazil. This role will lead procurement and contract administration activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective contract execution, supplier performance, commercial compliance, and timely delivery of critical construction equipment and services. The position requires close collaboration with project teams, suppliers, procurement professionals, and key stakeholders in a fast‑paced, high-impact construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage project procurement plans.
- Support the preparation and review of scope of work documentation and procurement packages.
- Coordinate procurement activities for Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment and materials.
- Establish negotiation strategies and participate in supplier negotiations.
- Manage RFx processes, including bid evaluations, supplier communications, and pre‑bid meetings.
- Administer contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and related contractual documentation.
- Implement and improve procurement and contract management processes and controls.
- Monitor supplier performance, expediting activities, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare accurate procurement, contract, and commercial reports for project stakeholders.
- Conduct pricing analysis, cost evaluations, benchmarking, and commercial assessments.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, contract administration, and overall project delivery performance.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 5–10 years of experience
- Experience supporting data center or mission‑critical projects
- Strong knowledge of contract terms & conditions, procurement processes, and commercial management
- Experience managing RFIs, RFQs, RFPs/RFx, bid evaluations, negotiations, change orders, submittals, and supplier contracts
- Experience purchasing and expediting major equipment packages (generators, HVAC/air handling units, electrical/mechanical equipment, OFCI materials)
- Ability to build and manage strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Strong negotiation, communication, organizational, and time‑management skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience performing price analysis, cost analysis, commercial evaluations, and benchmarking
- Fluent in English a plus
- Experience with procurement, contract management, reporting, and commercial analysis tools
- Construction experience strongly preferred
- Paralegal or contract review experience is a plus
- Experience supporting technology‑driven or mission‑critical clients is preferred
