We're partnered with a well-established manufacturing organisation in West Flanders to hire an IT Support Engineer to strengthen their internal IT support function.

In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for employees and customers requiring IT assistance. The focus is on delivering efficient, user-friendly support while ensuring continuity in daily operations. You will handle a wide range of technical queries, resolve issues where possible, and collaborate with more specialised teams when needed.

Key responsibilities:

* Providing first-line IT support to end users, both on-site and remotely
* Logging, tracking, and resolving incidents and service requests through a ticketing system
* Supporting users with tools such as Microsoft 365 (including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
* Troubleshooting and maintaining end-user devices (Windows PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices)
* Assisting with user account and access management via Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID
* Installing and configuring standard hardware and software
* Escalating more complex technical issues to internal experts or external providers
* Documenting solutions, procedures, and knowledge base content
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of IT support processes

Your profile:

* Initial experience in IT support, helpdesk, or desktop support is beneficial
* Solid understanding of Windows environments and Microsoft 365 tools
* Basic knowledge of networking concepts (e.g. TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN) is an advantage
* Interest in business applications or ERP systems is a plus
* Fluent in Dutch, with working knowledge of French
* Service-oriented with a strong focus on user satisfaction
* Analytical and solution-driven mindset with a willingness to learn
* Organised and detail-oriented in documentation and follow-up
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage priorities effectively
* A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude
