Senior Buyer Contractor – Automotive Manufacturing | Belgium | 5-Month Contract
We’re currently supporting a global automotive manufacturing organisation in the search for an experienced Senior Buyer Contractor to join their European purchasing team based primarily in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded procurement professional with strong sourcing and supplier negotiation experience within manufacturing or automotive environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct supplier market analysis and benchmarking across Europe
* Lead RFI/RFQ processes with potential suppliers
* Evaluate supplier capabilities across quality, cost, delivery and environmental performance
* Negotiate pricing, contracts and cost optimisation initiatives
* Support supplier performance management within mass production environments
* Present sourcing recommendations and analysis to senior stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in strategic sourcing / purchasing within manufacturing or automotive
* Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
* Ability to work autonomously in an international environment
* Excellent analytical and communication skills
* Degree in Engineering, Business or similar
* English fluency required
* Experience working with Japanese business culture is advantageous
