As Sales Manager, you are responsible for the strategic, organizational, and operational management of the Sales department in line with the company’s strategic objectives and within the allocated budget. You will develop, implement, and monitor the company’s commercial strategy, in accordance with applicable standards, to achieve strategic goals and successfully transition from a solution-based to a product-based organization. You lead the sales team, identify new market and customer opportunities, and contribute to revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Development and Implementation of the Sales Strategy In collaboration with the Sales Director: Develop and roll out a commercial strategy aligned with the roadmap and go-to-market plans to successfully support the transition from a solution-based to a product-based company, and achieve strategic business goals. Translate this strategy into commercial policies, standards, and best practices that you will develop, implement, and maintain. Define the sales plan based on market analysis and business objectives. Establish sales goals and priorities in alignment with the overall strategy. Commercial Activity and Performance Monitoring Actively manage key accounts and maintain strategic customer relationships. Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities and markets. Ensure proper handling of proposals, SLAs, and commercial terms to close profitable yet feasible long-term contracts while ensuring customer satisfaction. Analyze sales figures, KPIs, and margins, and under the supervision of the Sales Director, take necessary actions to meet objectives. Report to the executive management and make recommendations to optimize the sales strategy. Market Position Development and Strengthening Stay informed about market trends, competitive movements, and customer behavior to adjust commercial strategy and approach when necessary. Build constructive collaboration with internal stakeholders (marketing, production, finance, customer service) to ensure customer-centric solutions. In collaboration with the Sales Director, ensure that customer feedback and market demand are translated into product insights, and work with the product team on the roadmap, backlog, and pricing strategies. Align sales initiatives with marketing (campaigns, lead nurturing, demos, events) to ensure a consistent approach to the market and customers. Your Profile As a Sales Manager, you have: A bachelor's or master's degree in an economic or commercial field. At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, including 2 years in a leadership role. Strong leadership and people management skills. Commercial acumen and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Expert knowledge of sales techniques and negotiation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Trilingual proficiency in French, Dutch, and English. Strong coordination and communication skills, also in cross-functional collaboration. Process management skills. Expert knowledge of Speos products. Knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce). Affinity with IT.
