A global leader in food packaging is seeking an ambitious Sales & Commercial Manager to join its growing European operations. With a strong commitment to innovation, environmental responsibility, and international expansion, this business designs and develops packaging solutions that actively reduce environmental impact, while serving the agri-food and food service industries.
This is a sales focused role offering influence, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow relationships with existing and new customers.
* Promote new and innovative packaging solutions.
* Respond to customer tenders and follow up on inquiries.
* Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events.
* Track sales performance, analyse statistics, and evaluate customer satisfaction.
* Conduct market research and monitor competitors.
* Collaborate with production to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Manage key accounts and strategic partnerships.
* Reporting to the Sales Director.
Person Specification
* Proven sales experience, ideally in food or packaging sectors.
* A practical, hands-on approach to business development and customer engagement.
* Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
* Fluency in Dutch and English (French is a bonus).
* A proactive, field-focused mindset and sensitivity to CSR and sustainability values.
* Higher education in sales or a related field.
* Strong communication and analytical skills.
* Dynamic, proactive, independent, and willing to travel to meet customers.
* Fluent in English and Dutch (French is a plus).
* Interested in sustainability and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).
* Based in Belgium.
