We’re looking for a web engineer to join a dynamic, international services team and play a key role in delivering high-impact client solutions.

In this role, you will own projects from concept to go-live, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure outstanding delivery and customer satisfaction.

Location: Belgium (with 2x/week on-site presence in Brussels)

Your Role

As a web engineer, you act as the bridge between business and technology—designing, building, and delivering solutions that drive real client value.

You will:

• Translate business and technical requirements into robust, scalable solutions
• Lead and support digital marketing and customer engagement initiatives
• Facilitate and contribute to design workshops and requirements gathering
• Provide expert input into solution design, ensuring best practices and future scalability
• Take full ownership of end-to-end delivery:
• Solution configuration
• Quality assurance testing
• UAT support and successful go-live
• Build, configure, and optimize platform solutions
• Collaborate with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders (Project Managers, Architects, etc.)
• Deliver implementations, migrations, and enhancements
• Identify risks early and proactively propose mitigation strategies
• Support presales activities through solution validation and effort estimation
• Stay up to date with new technologies and bring fresh insights into your work

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (IT, Business, or similar) or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical role
• Based in Belgium and eligible to work in Belgium

Languages:

• Native French
• Professional English
• Dutch is a strong plus
• Strong communication skills across technical, non-technical, and executive audiences

Required Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with SQL development (MySQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server)
• Experience with APIs and integrations:

SOAP & REST

XML / XSL

• Understanding of data flows and system integrations
• Ability to collaborate with distributed teams across different time zones
• Strong autonomy and ownership in handling technical challenges

Nice to Have

• Experience in digital marketing or loyalty environments
• Background in a consulting or client-facing role
