We're looking for a Software Engineer who’s passionate about crafting high-quality user experiences and modern technologies. If you love solving complex problems, improving legacy codebases and shaping the future of real-time media production, this might just be your next adventure.
Core assignments
* Be our code maestro: Take ownership of our 'Storiez' product, collaborating closely with our agile development team to drive its evolution and seamless integration with our core cloud-based Cuez products.
* Architect of innovation: Analyze, design, and implement new features in collaboration with our design team, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality and aesthetics. ‘Storiez’ is more than a front-end project, so you will need to keep an eye on the ‘big picture’ to ensure proper architectural decisions are made.
* Drive sustainable improvement: Contribute to an evolving codebase shaped by the energy of a fast-moving environment. You are comfortable navigating complexity and legacy code, while systematically implementing structure, best practices, and long-term stability. You see opportunity in that momentum and are motivated by the chance to make things better every day.
* Guardian of quality: Write robust automated tests and comprehensive documentation to uphold the integrity of your codebase.
* Team player extraordinaire: Maintain close communication with the core product team, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and adherence to best practices.
Your profile
* Experience: You have at least 3 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining modern web applications.
* Full-stack Experience: Experience building JS-based applications, ideally with Server-Side Rendering, is a must-have for this position. Practical knowledge of SvelteKit as a whole is ideal.
* Front-End Expertise: You're either experienced with Svelte or have solid experience with another modern JavaScript framework such as Vue.js or React. In the styling department, you deeply understand how CSS works and enjoy it. Practical experience with Tailwind CSS is preferable
* Organized: You possess a keen eye for detail, a structured approach to problem-solving.
* Growth Mindset: You have a passion for continuous learning and growth.
* Pragmatic and Progressive: Your coding philosophy emphasizes pragmatism, quality, and a commitment to staying abreast of industry trends.

* Location: You are based in Belgium or are willing to relocate, making it possible for you to pop into our lively office space in Leuven
