About the Role
In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be part of a team responsible for delivering outstanding payroll services. Your efforts will have a direct impact on our organization's value proposition by ensuring accurate and timely compensation to employees, supporting a great worker experience, engagement, and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process accurate and timely payroll for approximately 500 employees in Belgium, including all payments, deductions, and statutory obligations (taxes, social security, etc.).
Reconcile payroll data and review provider output to ensure correct processing of starters, leavers, absences, and variable inputs.
Manage payroll-related queries through our People Portal, ensuring timely and value-aligned responses.
Collaborate with Finance and other stakeholders to provide accurate payroll reports and GL outputs.
Support compliance by staying updated on payroll legislation and contributing to continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes.
Assist with benefits administration, provider communications, and maintaining internal payroll and benefits documentation.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
• Proven payroll experience in a fast-paced environment, with deep knowledge of Belgian payroll legislation.
• Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and high PC literacy.
• Proven ability to accurately process, balance, and reconcile payrolls with a strong focus on data accuracy and attention to detail.
• Solid analytical, numeracy, and decision-making skills, paired with strong time management and organizational capabilities.
• Experience working with payroll providers, managing compliance, and delivering high-quality service to internal stakeholders.
