We are looking for a customer service agent for Regulatory Operational Management - ROM Team (AML & KYC / Internal controls), with our ROM Team acting as the first line of defense knowledge center on AML and the privileged interface of «Customer Services» for all questions related to AML. The service is also in charge of operational tasks related to compliance (CRS and FATCA rules) and related to privacy topics (GDPR).
The members of the ROM department are part of a team. Each member assists in its function the ROM Manager in reviewing relevant open topic with compliance and other operating departments, of processes and controls, and ensures timely, effective, correct and full regulatory implementation.
What will you do?
* Ensure that the tasks performed by the "Customer Services" comply with the regulations and laws in force as well as internal procedures and policies;
* Perform control checks and quality reviews to identify control gaps, errors and non-compliance;
* Document findings, prepare control reports, and track corrective actions;
* Optimize existing processes and controls while identifying areas of improvement, and recommending corrective and preventive actions;
* Perform periodic reviews (KYC) of clients based on their risk profiles;
* Actively participate in the duty of constant vigilance through the analysis of alerts detected by the systems or by the operational departments, draw up detailed and documented reports for atypical situations to be forwarded if needed on the second line analyses;
* Analyze PEP profiles, potentially sanctioned clients, etc.
* Respond to requests from local authorities (police, financial prosecutor);
* Actively participate in any project related to regulatory issues;
* Support the development of procedures and make the necessary adjustments to comply with new laws and regulations;
* Take part in the detection of CRS/FATCA indices, the monitoring of the procedure until the preparation of annual regulatory declarations;
* Update and maintain professional knowledge and technical skills in the AML field, CRS & FATCA, GDPR and any other anti-fraud measures in order to maximize their own professional knowledge and apply it optimally within the organization.
What profile are we looking for?
* You have a bachelor's degree or diploma equivalent in experience;
* Communicative: you have a fluent understanding and expression both spoken and written of English and either French or Dutch with and a solid understanding of the other.
* Autonomous: you take initiative and can work independently in managing your processes and procedures. You can organize and plan your day according to priorities;
* Accurate: you are accurate in your work. You enjoy working with all kinds of data and know how to analyze it;
* Cooperative: you are a team player and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others. You are looking for solutions that are acceptable to everyone. You make sure to provide possible avenues for optimization;
* Problem-solving skills and continuous improvement orientation
* Proficiency in standard Office tools, other reporting/DB standards (Power BI – SAS Entreprise, …) is a plus
* PCP certification is an asset.
