Your challenge
Scania is undergoing a digital transformation where data is the driving force. As a Data Analyst, you will be involved in collecting and analyzing data from various sources, enabling data-driven real-time solutions in PowerBI and SAP Analytics Cloud. You are the link between business and data-driven solutions. Additionally, you play a key role in setting up data infrastructures to process and analyze large amounts of data, developing new algorithms and models, and reusing existing models in innovative ways.
Your responsibilities:
* Collecting, analyzing and cleaning data from diverse sources.
* Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
* Analyzing large datasets using statistical techniques and data analysis tools.
* Setting up data infrastructures to process and analyze large amounts of data.
* Developing new algorithms and models.
* Supporting or leading data science projects.
* Developing, implementing and maintaining data pipelines and systems for data collection, storage, processing and analysis.
Your talents
* Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, IT, etc.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues and devise practical solutions.
* Ability to translate complex data into understandable insights and reports
* Experience working with large datasets and applying analysis techniques
* Experience with data modeling in BI tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud and/or PowerBI
* Experience in data science, machine learning and/or Python is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, to work effectively with various stakeholders.
* You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
