(Senior) FE Analysis Engineer
Job description:
To support TREMEC's development team with a sudden rise in workload, we are looking for an FEA Analysis specialist to temporarily strengthen the team.
As an FE Analysis Engineer you are part of a large engineering team, developing mechatronic projects within the automotive industry. The main workload is currently on driveline transmission development. You will be part of the analysis team, and together with your colleagues you will help shape and validate the design through simulation. You have experience (from "strong base" up to "Senior level") and affinity for mechanical calculations and FEA.
Your key tasks include:
FEA Simulation: At the start of every simulation task, based on your experience combined with the experience of your analysis team colleagues and archives, you come up with the best modeling strategies and techniques to solve questions coming from different teams. Modeling/Simulation questions can come from different sources or teams, but are all tracked in a structured task management system. The range of possible simulation aspects is large: from shaping a part using optimization tools, to large "full system" model assemblies. Complexity from simple structural checks to highly non-linear, dynamics or Multiphysics problems, depending on the risks that we see. Main tools that will be used: Abaqus, Tosca, iSight, Meshworks.
Possible different simulation fields: Experience in any specialized simulation tools can be of interest. In case you have applicable experience, depending on interest and need, the activity could be expanded towards different simulation fields such as specialized simulation tools for Gearboxes (Romax), Efficiency, NVH (Romax Spectrum), dynamic systems, etc.
About you:
Master in engineering (/engineering and science)
Knowledgeable through experience and educational background in mechanical calculations and FEA. You are an (FE) Analysis expert. Strong plus: experience in Abaqus.
Eager to learn and dig deep towards technical understanding of the product
Structured worker, teamplayer but able to progress independently
You are fluent in English and knowledge of Dutch and/or German is a plus
Professional and clear communicator
An attitude towards creating something from the ground up
Our offer?
