Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Stock Tokenization Trading Platform(Remote)
We are looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our IT department at an innovative stock tokenization trading platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in both traditional finance and Web3, with practical experience in building and scaling exchange technology teams from inception. This role requires a strategic technology leader with an entrepreneurial mindset to drive the development of secure, scalable, and compliant trading solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the IT department, focusing on architecture, development, infrastructure, and security of the trading platform.
Build and scale engineering and technology teams from the ground up to support platform growth.
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of high-performance trading systems for tokenized stocks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, compliance, and operations to align technical capabilities with business goals.
Ensure technology compliance with domestic and international financial regulations, especially for overseas market operations.
Drive innovation through adopting best practices in blockchain, smart contracts, and decentralized finance technologies.
Establish robust security frameworks and operational resilience plans.
Required Qualifications:
Significant experience in traditional finance sectors such as brokerage, asset management, or investment banking.
Proven track record building and working in large Web3 trading exchanges.
Experience in building exchange development teams and technology infrastructure from 0 to 1.
Strong entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
Experience with overseas regulated exchanges is highly preferred.
Fluency in English as the primary working language.
