JR Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Sales and Account Manager. This role combines strategic new business development with comprehensive account management, driving sales growth across European markets while serving as the primary point of contact for client success. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of airline technology solutions, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage the complete customer lifecycle from prospecting through implementation and ongoing account growth.

What Success Looks Like in This Role
You will be instrumental in expanding JR Technologies' footprint across European aviation markets while ensuring the success and growth of existing client relationships. Representing our digital solutions, you will manage the complete customer journey - from initial prospecting and deal closure through implementation coordination and ongoing account development. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles while maintaining deep, trusted advisor relationships with clients.
Role Description
Sales Strategy and New Business Development:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share across European airline and travel technology markets
* Prospect and acquire new clients by identifying potential leads, conducting market research, and presenting compelling value propositions
* Develop tailored solutions that align with clients' business objectives and the airline's offerings - Negotiate contract terms, pricing agreements, and SLAs to secure high-value enterprise partnerships
* Identify new business opportunities and potential markets to extend our reach in the aviation sector
* Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to refine sales approaches and positioning
Account Management and Client Success:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for client deliverables during and after contracts have been signed
* Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and partners by understanding their focus and needs, and anticipating them in advance
* Liaise on all aspects of implementation as the commercial representative, including coordination of client change requests
* Support and solve problems for clients by understanding and exceeding their expectations
* Follow up with clients regularly to ensure needs are being met and satisfaction levels remain high
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients on aviation technology trends, distribution strategies, and loyalty program optimization
Account Growth and Expansion:
* Identify additional sales opportunities within existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling Educate clients on new product features, updates, and JR Technologies offerings
* Develop strategic account plans to maximize client lifetime value and retention
* Negotiate costs of new services and contract renewals
Commercial and Contract Management:
* Oversee contract management, renewal processes, and ensure compliance with SLAs
* Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market trend analyses for management
* Maintain a comprehensive database of clients, prospects, and partners in CRM systems
* Track quality metrics including pipeline health, conversion rates, revenue performance, and client satisfaction
Industry Leadership and Collaboration:
* Stay current with airline industry trends, technology developments, and regulatory changes (IATA standards, NDC, modern retailing)
* Represent JR Technologies at aviation industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events across Europe
* Collaborate with product and technical teams to tailor solutions to client needs and ensure successful implementation
* Contribute to product roadmap discussions based on customer feedback and market demands
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or related field
* Minimum 10-15 years of proven B2B enterprise software sales experience
* Deep understanding of airline technology ecosystem (PSS, GDS, loyalty platforms, distribution systems)
* Strong existing network within European airline industry
* Understanding of airline business models, revenue management, and customer loyalty strategies
* Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
* Self-motivated and disciplined with proven ability to work independently in remote environments
* Willingness to travel within Europe
* Proficiency with CRM systems (Zoho, HubSpot, or similar) and sales analytics tools
