Location: Diegem, Belgium – hybrid Subject to Consultation About the role We are currently looking for a Commercial Operations Analyst to support the Central accounts management team with the back-office work related to tenders, profitability, price models, revisions and all other business analytics. The role also supports the wider Finance and Commercial team in setting the budget and corporate plan. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the Key accounts team with the monthly volume forecast process and the validation of the forecasted volumes numbers, through the roll out of our CRM and S&OP tools Work with the Sales team to ensure each of their customers has an account plan, articulating clearly and sensibly the plan of action to maximise profitability. This will be done by gathering information from the sales manager to build a path to profit plan, or support them in putting a plan together and will be linked to the tender activity Support all tender activity, specifically the analysis of the tender to ensure information is available for updating the CRM, coordination of the regional price submissions, and the creation of the impact analysis for CTC Maintain the integrity of the Contracts Database and ensure metadata is up to date and accessible Create an overview (impact analysis) of the multi-regional submissions of prices to summarise the offer we will make to the Customer including the margins we are aiming for; how much volume will be protected and how much volume we are targeting to win Use market indices and contractual information to execute, on time, the price adjustments for our Central accounts On a monthly basis, support the Finance team in creating a view on how our prices will evolve considering the paper market variations Support the Sales team in analysing or fixing particular problematics as and when required. (i.e. Price indexation simulation, Customers’ Master data clean-up). Support the account managers in building their three years accounts plans. About You Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, or equivalent experience Excellent analytical skills using Excel are a must; Power BI would also be advantageous Six Sigma, project management training / certification preferred Ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as a part of a team Strong communication skills Fluent in English, written and spoken.
