For an insurance customer in Belgium, I am searching for a freelance Life Insurance Business Analyst to support the portfolio migration project and/or commercial developments projects. This team of 10 people specialized in individual and collective life insurance consists of 3 types of functions: Actuaries, Business Analysts, and testers.

Responsibilities
* Analyse product and process differences of source system vs target in the context life insurance policies migration
* Define associated requirements and formalize them according to defined quality standards.
* Identify the process impacts of the migration of individual life insurance policies.
* Ensure understanding between the business and IT.
* Prepare and execute process and calculation tests.
* Act as an intermediary between business and IT teams.
* Provide regular reporting on the progress of your activities.
* Ensure effective collaboration with numerous stakeholders (IT, Operations, Business, Distribution, etc.) and develop a trustful relationship with your clients and suppliers.
Profile
* Imperative knowledge individual life insurance products and processes
* Imperative knowledge in "Classique" products
* Knowledge in life insurance migrations
* Proven successful experience as a Business Analyst.
* Strong commitment to project quality and deadlines. A "can-do" attitude and flexibility.
* Autonomous and proactive in finding solutions to obtain necessary information.
* University degree in mathematics (or equivalent experience).
* Minimum 5 years of experience in the life insurance sector.
* Familiar with at least one standard business/process analysis methodology.
* Structured, organized (good priority management), and pragmatic.
* Strong adaptability and learning ability.
* Detail-oriented while capable of finding the effective level of abstraction based on context.
* Effective communication with all audiences (actuaries, IT experts, management, etc.).
* Client and results-oriented.
