Objectives of this Role
1. Develop a deep understanding of company systems, products, and security requirements.
2. Evaluate existing security protocols and identify areas for improvement.
3. Design and implement security solutions that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
4. Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring rapid mitigation and recovery.
5. Educate and guide teams on security best practices and emerging threats.
Responsibilities
6. Lead the execution of security projects, including risk assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
7. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
8. Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into system architecture and software development lifecycles.
9. Monitor security tools and logs to detect and respond to threats in real time.
10. Stay current with industry trends, threat intelligence, and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO, NIST, GDPR).
11. Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
12. +7 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related engineering field.
13. Strong understanding of network security, encryption, authentication, and access control.
14. Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
15. Proven ability to analyze and respond to security incidents.
16. Strong focus on risk management and compliance.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
17. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Engineering.
18. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP.
19. Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
20. Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and secure coding principles.
21. Strong project management and communication skills.
