About the Role
We are looking for an adaptable and self-driven Project Manager to join our growing team in the fire protection sector. This role is ideal for someone with experience (or a strong desire to develop) in fire safety systems — particularly sprinkler systems — and who thrives in a hands-on, dynamic project environment.
With a main base in the Netherlands and an additional office in Antwerp, you’ll manage exciting logistics and warehouse projects valued between €200,000 and €4,000,000. Projects typically involve close collaboration with an internal design engineer and teams of 6–12 subcontractors on-site.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, manage, and execute fire protection installation projects across the Netherlands and Belgium
* Coordinate with internal engineers for drawings and calculations
* Oversee subcontractors and installation crews on-site
* Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and quality
* Maintain budget control and manage project timelines
* Schedule regular site visits (typically 2–3 days per week of travel, ~2–3 hours each way)
* Balance office presence (for team collaboration) with remote work flexibility
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Preferred: Experience with sprinkler systems, either from a competitor (e.g., Aqua Security, ESP Safety) or within the fire protection space
* Open to: Junior profiles with no direct experience but strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and structure your own time effectively
* Dutch and/or English fluency
* Valid driving license (essential due to travel requirements)
What’s on Offer
* Competitive salary: €4,000–€6,000/month
* Company car + fuel card
* Phone + standard tools for the role
* 13.92 months salary annually
* Excellent job stability in a financially sound business
* A “small family feel” team culture within a larger group (now 700+ employees after a recent merger with Pyronova)
* Consistent project pipeline despite wider sector challenges
