As part of projects within the Signalling Design Platform team related to ETCS (European Train Control System), Infrabel ICT is looking for a senior test engineer certified in ISTQB, with knowledge of quality standards, particularly the EN 50128 standard, and who holds or has previously held a Scrum Master certification, in order to replace the Scrum Master if needed.
The test engineer will join an Agile team composed of developers, analysts, and business analysts, and will actively participate in manual and automated testing of a project developed in Java/Angular within a microservices environment.
He/she will adopt an innovative approach, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity principles as well as ICT/Infrabel standards. The ability to work proactively and autonomously on challenging projects is a key aspect of the role.
The test engineer will also contribute to the business objectives of the projects, which requires a strong user-oriented mindset and close collaboration with business teams, particularly in providing support for user acceptance testing (UAT) when necessary.
The project(s) involved are subject to several standards, including:
* Quality: ISO 9001
* Signalling: EN 50128
* Security: ISO 27001 / NIS
Therefore, it is essential that the candidate demonstrates rigor and dedicates sufficient time to documentation to ensure tracking and compliance with these standards.
The ideal candidate is an expert test engineer, experienced in working in Agile/Scrum teams (possibly SAFe Scrum).
* English language: C2 level (highest level of proficiency; ability to handle highly complex language).
* Dutch language: B2 level (upper-intermediate/advanced level).
* French language: A1 level (beginner level).
Professional Experience & Skills:
* Manual testing: Level 3 – minimum 5 years of experience.
* Automated testing: Level 2 – minimum 2 years of experience.
* Good knowledge and experience with Jira, Confluence, and Xray: Level 2 – minimum 2 years of experience.
* Experience with automation tools such as ReadyAPI or SoapUI: Level 2 – minimum 2 years of experience.
* Experience with tools Postman and Swagger: Level 2 – minimum 2 years of experience.
* ISTQB certification (level not specified).
* Knowledge of the EN50128 standard and cybersecurity best practices: Level 1 – some experience required.
* Knowledge and experience with Selenium: Level 1 – some experience required.
* Knowledge and experience with Agile/Scrum: Level 3 – minimum 5 years of experience.
* Knowledge and experience with GitLab: Level 2 – minimum 2 years of experience.
* Knowledge and experience with microservices: Level 2 – minimum 2 years of experience.
* Knowledge and experience with SQL and XML: Level 2 – minimum 2 years of experience.
* SAFe Scrum Master certification (current or previous).
