To support Jumet factory in sourcing activities and supplier managemnt we are looking for:
Strategic buyer
Your responsibility:
Sourcing activities:
1. Plan, initialize and monitor strategic sourcing sctivities for Project,new product developments, early involvement of key Suppliers, design to cost sspects: approve supplier decisions from LPGs.
2. Negotiates frame agreements and executes upon approval. Defines and establishes standard agreements (GTC, agreements for quality assurance and logistics) with all major suppliers, relevant for the category.payment terms, supplier consolidation, usage of peferred suppliers,
3. Contract management: cost reduction on external material, extension of average based on RFX requirements
4. Leveraging the Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing (CIPS) process
Suppliers activities:
5. Coordinate and implement sourcing strategy, - identify, analyze, evaluate, audit and monitor suppliers
6. Drive and advance strategic supplier portfolio based on different commodity.
7. Initiate and improve operational Excellence & Supplier Performance.
8. Supplier Performance SPE Result, Cost Target in New Developments.
9. Supplier Relationship Management: supplier risk management, supplier development, supplier auditing and contracting, coordinate efforts for supplier/part qualification.
Cooperation with internal stakeholders:
10. Cooperate with engineering and other functions
11. Secure Material availability in production.
12. Fulfill the guidelines of SOX, OHS, EHS and Compliance
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Working Experience in Purchasing and Supply Management.
- Additional working experience in Electrical or Electro-mechanical parts industry considered a plus.
- Knowledge of the market and suppliers. Excellent negotiation skills.
- Must be able to communicate supply chain objectives clearly and deliver the result.
- Good teamwork, able to combine the strategic thinking with tactical daily work.
- Knowledgeable in ERP system and skill in SAP is a Plus.
- Fluent in both written and oral in English
